Caffè Umbria Logan Square: Mid-Century Me All Over
It’s not hard to miss the bright red, brick building that houses the new Caffè Umbria in Logan Square (among other cool merchants), but if you miss the white paint marking the cafe’s entrance you may be out of luck. Fortunately two giant doors are usually wide open welcoming patrons into the storage container-decorated coffee shop.
We loved allll the vibes at this Caffè Umbria location. Bright red and yellow entry decor, with a mid-century living room feel for when you’re ready to sit down and get to work. As you sip and enjoy your coffee and snacks, you can also take a peek behind giant glass that shows you their coffee being made directly in house. The coffee menu is limited (but it doesn’t need to be massive when quality is good), and there are a few pastries to hold down your appetite for a few hours. In classic Caffè Umbria fashion, each drink comes with a tiny dark chocolate as well.
